The Boston Capital Group, Inc. (“BCG,” “we,” “us” or “our”) respects privacy and is committed to describing its data practices accurately and plainly.
01Scope and operator
This Privacy Notice applies to this BCG corporate website, the separately hosted BCG Family Office Portal and any other BCG-operated page that links to it (collectively, the “Site”). BCG is a privately held operating holding company headquartered in Florida.
This Notice does not govern independently operated portfolio-company, affiliate or third-party websites. Block Sports Universe has a separate website, operating environment and legal notices. When you follow a link to that or another external site, the destination site’s privacy practices apply.
02Information we receive
Information you choose to provide
The public corporate pages do not provide transaction functions or general-purpose submission forms. If you contact BCG by email, we may receive your name, email address, organization, telephone number, message, email headers, attachments and any other information you choose to include.
Restricted Family Office Portal
The Family Office Portal is limited to authorized family-office members. To administer and protect access, BCG and providers acting on its behalf may process a member’s name, business email address, mobile telephone number, family-office affiliation, security-code verification result, device and authenticator information, one-time security-key events, NDNCA execution and delivery records, access status, request metadata and security-audit activity. Protected materials are released only through the applicable authorization process.
Technical and security information
When you access the Site, our hosting, content-delivery and security providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect it. This can include Internet Protocol address, browser and device type, operating system, requested page, referring page, access time, diagnostic information and security signals.
Business-contact information
In ordinary corporate, professional, vendor and portfolio-company communications, BCG may receive business contact details and related correspondence. Those interactions may also be governed by contracts or separate notices.
04How information is used
BCG and providers acting on its behalf may use information to:
- deliver, maintain, secure and improve the Site;
- respond to inquiries and manage corporate or professional relationships;
- verify authorized Family Office Portal members, deliver one-time mobile security keys, administer NDNCA execution and control access to protected materials;
- diagnose errors and detect, investigate or prevent fraud, misuse and security threats;
- comply with law, regulation, legal process and recordkeeping obligations; and
- protect the rights, property, safety and operations of BCG, its affiliates, personnel and others.
The Site is not used to offer investments or investment advice, solicit third-party capital, receive program enrollment information or invite unsolicited investment opportunities.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, that basis may be BCG’s legitimate interests in operating and protecting the Site and conducting its business, performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps requested by you, compliance with legal obligations, or consent where specifically requested.
05How information may be disclosed
Information may be disclosed, as reasonably necessary, to:
- hosting, content-delivery, information-technology, cybersecurity, identity-verification, SMS, electronic-signature, email-delivery and controlled-storage providers;
- BCG subsidiaries, affiliates and portfolio companies when relevant to a corporate inquiry or operating relationship;
- legal, accounting, insurance, audit and other professional advisers;
- governmental authorities or other parties when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety and security; and
- a prospective or completed purchaser, successor or counterparty in a corporate reorganization or transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal requirements.
The Site is not designed to sell visitor information or use it for cross-site behavioral advertising. BCG will describe any materially different practice before introducing it where required by law.
06Retention and security
BCG retains information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Notice, including to maintain records, resolve disputes, protect the Site and meet legal, accounting or contractual obligations. Retention periods depend on the type of information, the context in which it was received, operational need and applicable law.
BCG and its providers use administrative, technical and physical measures intended to protect information. No internet transmission, email system or storage environment can be guaranteed completely secure.
Do not send confidential deal materials, financial-account data, medical or disability information, government identifiers, service records, information about a child, or emergency requests unless BCG has specifically requested it through an appropriate process.
07Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a portable copy of personal information, and to opt out of certain sale, targeted advertising or profiling. BCG honors verified requests to the extent required by applicable law; rights, exceptions and procedures vary by jurisdiction.
To submit a request, email info@bcgroupe.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity and authority. Where required, you may use an authorized agent, appeal a decision and exercise rights without unlawful discrimination.
Residents of jurisdictions with a data-protection authority may also have the right to lodge a complaint with that authority. BCG encourages you to contact us first so we can address the issue directly.
08Children and program information
The Site is an institutional corporate site intended for adults and professional audiences. It is not directed to children under 13, and BCG does not knowingly solicit personal information from them through the Site. A parent or guardian should contact BCG on a child’s behalf.
Youth, recruitment, research, health-related or community-program intake—if introduced—will use a separate, purpose-specific process with appropriate privacy, consent and safeguarding review. The Site itself is not an enrollment portal.
09International access
BCG is based in the United States and the Site is hosted and supported through service providers that may process information in the United States and other countries. Laws in those locations may differ from those where you reside. Where required, BCG will use an appropriate legal mechanism for restricted international transfers.
10Changes and contact
BCG may update this Notice to reflect changes in law, technology or its practices. The effective date above identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented as required by applicable law.
